Wet Dream

Dream

A dream filled my room like an ocean
Scales spawn to hold strong, as they must
It seems I have taken a potion

Lights flash with hope and devotion
Desperate and hopeful they trust
A dream filled my room like an ocean

Forgetting all else I move with emotion
Gift of all days, a dream that just must
It seems I have taken a potion

She had never come upon this new notion
Life is a dream as much as a bust
A dream filled my room like an ocean

Lights flash baiting commotion
Stealing the stolen sipping on lust

It seems I have taken a potion

Flicking lightly, strength from the motion
Sleep soon forever my dearest
A dream filled my room like an ocean
It seems I have taken a potion

  1. very poetic, nikita ! the imagery that you create is so poignant, though some remain indiscernible. ‘a dream filled my room like an ocean’… your play with metaphor is beautiful. as always, i love the rhythm in your poetry.!!!
